The Caleta de Fuste carnival takes place during February each year in Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura.
The Carnival has a different theme each year, carnivals are quite an experience and well worth a visit especially on the night of the main procession.
The locals seriously let their hair down, and thousands of people dress up in fancy dress, and party hard. Carnivals usually last for several days and end with a loud, and colourful parade of floats with thousands of people dancing, singing, drinking, eating and being happy.
