The long beach of Gran Tarajal comprises of fine dark sand. It is not a tourist beach, it is frequented by locals and ex pats. Beach football is available and open showers and water taps (not drinking water) are situated along the beach. A selection of bars and restaurants are located along the beach and you may park on the roadside in town or in the marked bays.

La Concha Beach is a beautiful beach with white sand, and crystal clear calm water protected from the open ocean. Local fishermen depart from Las Playitas, a beautiful beach with black sand and a scattering of black pebbles. It is located just north of Gran Tarajal and signposted from the main road.Here you can find a surfing school, and you may hire a catamaran, kayak, and surfboard. This beach is situated between the two large hotels in the sand dunes and easily accessible via bus from Corralejo, or Puerto. To access these beaches on foot or cycling head south from Beach Cafe on the seafront across the waste ground, or by car park at the Atlantico Centre where there is ample free parking.

In contrast to its name (bad name), this is a beach of peace, tranquility, and natual beauty. It is popular with naturists, especially first timers because small black castles are built on the slope. You may want to settle behind one of these for privacy. Mal Nombre consists of fine white sand, and sunbeds and shades are available next to the beach bar. You may park in the small car park at the beach.

Los Molinos Beach is a small sandy beach located in the small village of Los Molinos on the west coast of Feurteventura. This small sandy beach can be very dangerous for swimming with large crashing waves, and strong currents. This small beach is situated on the north coast of the island in the busy tourist resort of Corralejo, and is popular with families. At high tide the beach is fine and sandy but at low tide when the tide goes out the beach is covered with small rocks and pebbles. Suitable foot wear is advised.
