SUP Course in Caleta (1.5 hours)

Learn SUP on a beautiful sandy beach in Caleta de Fuste, learn hoew to stand up on the board and row correctly with different manoeuvres. Work with the whole body improving technical skills and coordination. Moreover, train your body while you enjoy yourself.

After learning about the technical side of stand-up paddle and a stretching session, you will head for the water where you will put what you learnt into practice. Learn about safety, weather forecast and how to observe currents and SUP spots. This stand up paddle course will be held on flat water. Duration on the beach (theory and practical) will be about 1.5-hours. All levels will be welcome, minimum age is 6-years-old. There is a policy of maximum 4 learners per instructor in the water. If you have a larger group, kindly contact first before booking. You need to be a confident swimmer and physically fit. Classes will be available in Spanish, English and Italian.

In amongst the Ray Ben sunglasses, and the Gucci handbags for a tenner you can find some quality items such as hand made jewelry, and African wood carvings, well worth a look around and there's an amazing beach just accross the road.

Morro Jable is located in the south of Fuerteventura and is one of the most popular tourist resorts.wuth some amazing beaches. It's very picturesque, and the buildings stretch from the town centre down to the beach.

Corralejo Artisan Market

The Corralejo Canarian Market is located in the El Campanario Shopping Centre in Corralejo, Fuerteventura and takes place every Thursday from 10:00 til 14:00. 

Apart from the market there is a good selection of restaurants and cafes and live entertainment. There's also a tower with magnificent views of the surrounding area and the island of Lobos. El Campanario is on the number 6 bus route which runs between Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo.

The busy tourist town of Corralejo has a harbour, which was originally used by local fishermen, and now has a marina, and a ferry terminal. From here you can take the ferry to the nearby island of Lanzarote, passing the island of Los Lobos on the way, which you can also take a ferry to. Apart from the hundreds of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, villas and apartments some of the island's finest beaches can also be found here. There's eleven kilometres of top quality sand that stretches along the coast south of Corralejo where there are sand dunes.

La Alcogida Ecomuseum

To visit La Alcogida is to experience the way of life of Fuerteventuran peasants over the last few decades. Stone houses, whitewashed and with gabled roofs, welcome the visitor to the La Alcogida Eco-Museum, located in the village of Tefía in Puerto del Rosario. Its roofs are made of “torta” (a mix of water, earth and straw) which, with the advent of winter rains, is what gives the walls their ancient appearance. In summer the walls are repainted to once again display their pure and perfect white.

The Betancuria Archaeological Museum has two exhibition halls equipped with explanatory panels, one for Aboriginal material culture and the other to the spiritual world, both exhibit some archaeological pieces belonging to the Aboriginal stage of the island. The museum began with the donation by old Fuerteventurans of various pieces found by accident in the fields. Vicente Ruiz, a resident of Betancuria, was the one commissioned to gather and organise the material.

The Del Carmen Saltworks Museum is located in the Del Carmen Saltworks at Las Salinas, Fuerteventura.

The only saltworks in Fuerteventura still in operation, comprised of 10 intake ponds, nearly 1000 condensation ponds, the salt warehouse, the salt worker’s house and  the remains of the old quay. The Saltworks produces fine white salt of the highest quality which is very rich in trace elements due to the cleanliness of its water and the method of obtaining salt from sea foam combined with the traditional daily skimming. At the museum you can witness the whole process and discover its fascinating story, there's also a restaurant and a shop where you can purchase salt.

The Los Molinos Interpretation Centre in Tiscamanita makes us aware of the importance of grain to Fuerteventura and its importance to the economy of the island for centuries. The grain was harvested from wild seeds and ground in stone mortars and hand mills in the days before windmills.

As well as exploring the different rooms of this old building,discovering the history of cereal cultivation,the milling systems and Gofio (toasted cornmeal) there's also a widmill you can go inside.

Your adventure begins when you depart from the Port of Corralejo on a motor catamaran and head towards Lobos Island in a group of no more than 12 people. Once at Lobos quay, the group will divide into two. One half will cycle around the island on e-bikes accompanied by an expert guide, discovering beautiful volcanic landscapes and visiting unique island locations such as the lighthouse and the volcanic cone of La Montaña crater. At the end of the cycling tour, this group will return to the catamaran and swap over for the other half to have their turn.

While waiting at the boat, you can enjoy a range of exciting activities in this natural paradise of turquoise waters: kayaking or paddle surfing, feeding the fish, snorkelling, or simply lounging in the sun and relaxing on the catamaran’s deck.
