Restaurante Cuevas de Ajuy,Ajuy,Fuerteventura

Went to Restaurante Cuevas de Ajuy on Saturday for lunch on a visit to see the caves, lovely location, but not much Canarian about the Tipico Canario Cuisine, and quite pricey for what we thought was very basic food. We tried the chicken which was overcooked and dry, and the tuna which to be honest we expected a freshly seared steak, not frozen supermarket tuna, served with a pickled salad which looked like it came in a jar from the supermarket too. We figured that they don't care about repeat business as it's a bit of a trek to get there, and people only visit Ajuy once, we will visit Ajuy again, but not this place, it cost almost 50 Euro for three of us for three meals, three coffees and three waters, we have had far better food elsewhere for half the price.
