The Biosfera Farmers Market is held every Saturday between 08:00 and 13:00 above the bus station in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura.
All fruit and vegetables are grown locally , the fish is caught from the shores of the island and the Goat Cheese and meat are produced locally.
There are regular buses from the major tourist resorts of Caleta de Fuste and Corralejo that go to and from the bus station.

The Puerto del Rosario Agricultural Market was closed during the pandemic but seems to now be permanently closed.

Whilst waiting at the bus stop we came across this local market above the bus station. It was nice to look around at the farmers local produce and the different types of food they eat. I had some really nice local goats cheese and brought some fresh bread and cheese to have by the pool when I got back to the hotel.
