2019 New Years Eve Party Gran Tarajal
The 2019 New years eve party in Gran Tarajal begins on December 31st at 22:30 at the fairgrounds of Gran Tarajal,Gran Tarajal,Fuerteventura.
Organised by The Town Hall of Tuineje it should be a great party with the live music,and admission is free.
The name Gran Tarajal derives from the year 1740 when Tuineje saw the battle fought by an English Privateer with the ship named Grand Tarajal. At one time the port of Gran Tarajal was responsible for the export of the entire island's tomato production, today Gran Tarajal is mostly populated with locals and ex pats. It is home to one of the island's largest lime kilns, the Gran Tarajal Lime Kiln built in 1953.
