Fuerteventura Wild Coast and Legends Hike
Discover the contrasts of the desert island. Follow the narrow path to a tiny chapel in a canyon and walk along the scenic west coast of Fuerteventura. Reach a rock arch in the middle of nowhere.
Embark on a hike in the western part of Fuerteventura. Discover the famous Las Peñitas Ravine and its chapel. Ascend the ravine to see the place where the Virgen de la Peña appeared.
Make a wish in the chapel and feel like a local. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the entire valley far away from tourist crowds. Observe wild goats and raptors.
Drive 5 kilometers to the fishing village of Ajuy to start the second part of your hike. Discover the amazing coastal section that is not only a natural monument but also the oldest part of the island.
Hike along the rugged coastline to a secluded black beach with a giant monolith with a big hole in the middle. Listen to the legend about this mystic place within a nature unspoiled.
Walk back to the village of Ajuy and enjoy a coffee stop. Complete the day in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere before returning to your hotel.
