La Lajita Agricultural and Craft Market
La Lajita Agricultural and Craft Market is held every Sunday of the year between 09:00 and 14:00 at Oasis Wildlife (in the area with free access),La Lajita,Fuerteventura.
The Market offers an opportunity to purchase organic products of high quality (oil, majorero cheese, handmade pastries, vegetables, honey, fruits, etc..) and a large, and ever growing variety of craft products including paintings, photography, textiles, jewellery, furniture, lighting, souvenirs, and natural cosmetics.
The small fishing village of La Lajita is situated on the east coast of Fuerteventura between the towns of Tarajalejo and Costa Calma in the municipality of Pajara. There's a beach with pebbles and black sand and hardly any tourists, an idyllic place to spend some time away from the busy tourist resorts and sample local culture and cuisine.
