Located in the dunes of Corralejo, the 300 metres of white sand that is El Burro translates as the donkey. There are however, no donkey rides here. This beach is popular with kite surfers and is home to the Fuerteventura Kite Festival. El Charcón sits away from the busy areas of La Oliva. It consists of 310 metres of golden sand with a scattering of pebbles. The beach is easily accessible it is situated just 20 metres from the dirt track/road that leads to the picturesque town of El Cotillo from Corralejo.
