Los Cuchillos de Vigán Natural Monument,Las Playitas,Fuerteventura
Los Cuchillos de Vigán Natural Monument is located to the east of Las Playitas close to the coast. It consists of elongated mountainous structures perpendicular to the coast, where erosion has caused a series of formations called "knives" that are separated by valleys.
In this area you can see plants endemic to Fuerteventura along with birds including Barbary Falcons, Ospreys and Shearwaters.

The picturesque coastal village and holiday resort of Las Playitas is on the east coast, in the municipality of Tuineje.
