HotThe best option for complementing a day on the beach in El Cotillo is to visit the Museum of Traditional Fishing located in the Tostón lighthouse. At just five kilometres from the village, in the area known as Punta Ballena (Whale Point), is this lighthouse which dates back to 1897. Its construction coincides with the moment at which other similar buildings were erected, such as the Pechiguera Lighthouse in Lanzarote and the Marrajo Lighthouse on the islet of Lobos, for the purposes of signposting the Bocaina Straits.
Opening hours from Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-18.00 hours.
