The busy tourist town of Caleta de Fuste, also known as Caleta, or Castillo is situated in the centre of the island on the east coast 7 kilometres from Fuerteventura International Airport in the municipality of Antigua.  Apart from the many bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, there are some nice beaches with fine golden sand and crystal-clear water, and a small harbour. Excellent beaches, very clean, better than those in town, lots of fish to be seen snorkeling, the bigger fish are the other side of the island with the restaurant on.

Stayed in a hotel in Caleta De Fuste. The beach is just down the road. A lot of bars restaurants and shops close by. The beach was beautiful, very clean. Lovely white sand.

Nice clean beaches, crystal clear water, free parking below the Atlantico centre, better than the beach nearer the town.

Nice clean and safe beach.

Took the kids, very clean, with crystal clear water, the sea was very calm and great for the little kids as it's enclosed. There's public toilets in the Atlantico Centre nearby, take your money if you have kids as there's a Burger King, also when they ask what drink do you want with your meal you can chose beer. That was a first for me, I noticed the tap behind the counter, also they have free WIFI, ask for the code.

La Alcogida Ecomuseum

Friday April 19th 2019 10:00 -18:00

To visit La Alcogida is to experience the way of life of Fuerteventuran peasants over the last few decades. Stone houses, whitewashed and with gabled roofs, welcome the visitor to the La Alcogida Eco-Museum, located in the village of Tefía in Puerto del Rosario. Its roofs are made of “torta” (a mix of water, earth and straw) which, with the advent of winter rains, is what gives the walls their ancient appearance. In summer the walls are repainted to once again display their pure and perfect white.
