In the waters between the Canaries and Africa, the catch of the day could include a marlin or a swordfish. You'll have to pull out all the stops to land one of these big boys but the waters are teeming with other fish, too.
Dangle your bait over the side, and you could hook a mahi-mahi, a wahoo or an amberjack. And if you don't have any luck, simply sit back and soak up the sun.

From here you can take the ferry to the nearby island of Lanzarote, passing the island of Los Lobos on the way, which you can also take a ferry to. Apart from the hundreds of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, villas and apartments some of the island's finest beaches can also be found here. There's eleven kilometres of top quality sand that stretches along the coast south of Corralejo where there are sand dunes.
