Majanicho Beach, also known as Popcorn Beach is situated on the northern coast of the island. It is a small sandy picturesque beach. It has few houses which are inhabited by the locals. A very relaxing beach for a swim or just to bathe in the sun. If you venture further out it's a popular spot for all kinds of surfing with some big waves,

White coral eroded by the sea and washed out to shore is intermingled with black sand and volcanic rocks, making it look very much like popcorn.

Majanicho Beach is accessible by off road vehicles or bicycles from the coastal track which runs between Corralejo and El Cotillo. If you have a normal car and don't want to damage it drive to Lajares and take the long straight road by the football stadium which ends at Majanicho.

Majanicho Beach is located in Majanicho, Fuerteventura.

Majanicho is the northernmost village on Feurteventura and is in the municipality of La Olivia. It's a small picturesque village and has residential houses and there are no restaurants or shops. A perfect place to visit for some r and r with little occupation and not a tourist hot spot.
