There are several small beaches with white sand amongst volcanic rocky areas at Caleta del Río. It's very quiet here and often you can get a beach to yourself with crystal clear calm water protected from the open ocean.
Situated on the north west coast of Fuerteventura between El Cotillo and the lighthouse these beaches are ideal for families with young children as the water is shallow and calm.

Empty beaches

Very quiet here with empty sandy beaches, noticeably calm compared with the rough sea and big waves outside the cove, no problem parking.
