The picturesque village of Pozo Negro is located at the end of Malpais Grande National Park. The beach comprises of black sand and pebbles which contrast beautifully with the aquamarine sea. This is a place of outstanding natural beauty.

It is well worth taking a trip to the Pozo Negro Valley and seeing how the Mahos built their villages and the skill they used to construct their little houses out of volcanic stone.

Hired a bike from Black Rock cycle Hire in Caleta de Fuste and cycled out to Pozo Negro. This is a place of pure natural beauty, in particular its traditional fishing village. Highly recommended.
