The local goat meat on Fuerteventura is amazing and can be found in many  restaurants.

Order cabrito al horno, roasted goat, it's packed with flavour and for those not familiar with eating goat it has a similar flavour to lamb. It's often served with a sauce with rosemary and a version of boulangeres potatoes.

It's said that there are more goats than people on Fuerteventura where their numbers exceed 100,000 so don't be concerned about them running out.
