The Los Molinos Interpretation Centre in Tiscamanita makes us aware of the importance of grain to Fuerteventura and its importance to the economy of the island for centuries. The grain was harvested from wild seeds and ground in stone mortars and hand mills in the days before windmills.

As well as exploring the different rooms of this old building,discovering the history of cereal cultivation,the milling systems and Gofio (toasted cornmeal) there's also a widmill you can go inside.

The segway is a comfortable and light two wheel battery powered vehicle which reaches a maximum speed of between 15 and 20 kilometres per hour. No prior Segway experience is required. Upon completion of the tour a car will return you to your hotel.

Take a Guided Segway Tour, gliding through the fabulous landscape of the north shore of Fuerteventura as you admire its astonishing views of the ocean, Lanzarote and Lobos Island. Your adventure with this revolutionary means of transport begins with your arrival in the office after being collected by minibus from your hotel. Your expert guide will explain in detail the operation of the vehicle, and after having tried it together, your tour will start.

You will leave the office and head for the coast following a sandy path, before you arrive at the maritime "Passeo of the Bristol Playa", which is a paved pedestrian and cycle path. From here you can admire beautiful views of the coast, complete with fishermen and surfers with the background of Lanzarote and the island of Lobos. You will arrive at the port of Corralejo where the group will stop to rest and take some beautiful photographs.

After a 5-10 minute break, you will drive the Segway to a white beach on the north coast, and after another break of 5-10 minutes from this panoramic point, you will return to the office from which the tour started and return by minibus to your hotel.

With the wind caressing you, you will sail on until you reach the western side of Lobos Island, where you can view the lovely La Caldera Mountain (a half-submerged volcanic cone), before heading south until you reach La Concha Beach, famous for its paradisaical calm and turquoise waters, where the landscape changes totally depending on the tide.
