Fuerteventura Panoramic Tour from Corralejo February 15th 2020
See the sights of Fuerteventura on a small group full-day tour in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan. Visit the Sacred Mountain in Tindaya, the canyon of La Presa de la Peñita, the black sand beaches of Ajuy and much more.
Discover the centre of Fuerteventura on a combined panoramic and trekking tour, enjoy a short briefing from your driver, who will explain the itinerary and listen to your particular requests. You will travel in a small group of no more than 8 people.
Travel inland passing the towns of La Oliva, Tindaya and Tefia. Tindaya is home to the Montaña de Tindaya (also known as the "Sacred Mountain"). Stop for a coffee on a spectacular balcony designed by the Canarian artist Caesar Manrique. Enjoy panoramic views of the north of the island from Morro Velosa. Continue to La Presa de la Peñita and marvel at the huge canyon with its 23 metre tall dam.
Enjoy lunch in the town of Pajara where you will have an hour to decide where to eat and relax. Your guide can suggest some typical and economic places to eat, before taking you to the seaside town of Ajuy with its black sand beaches and huge caves. It's a short walk from the car park with beautiful views and photo opportunities and possible to enter the caves if you wish during a 40 minute stop.
From here it's back in the minivan and we head to Costa Calma, in the south of the island, where beautiful lagoons are formed on amazing white sand beaches following the rhythm of the tides. We then head back and make our last stop at the Natural Park of Las Dunas near Corralejo and discover a desert of huge sand dunes which join the crystal clear waters of the ocean.
