SUP Challenge
The 2018 SUP Challenge takes place in Corralejo, Fuerteventura between the 6th and the 9th of December.
Corralejo Christmas Market
Corralejo Christmas Market is held every Saturday and Sunday between 09:00 and 19:00 during December in Plaza Patricio Calero,Corralejo,Fuerteventura.
Corralejo Canarian Market
The Corralejo Canarian Market takes place in the El Campanario Shopping Centre in Corralejo, Fuerteventura and is open every Sunday between 10:00 and 14:00.
Apart from the market there is a good selection of restaurants and cafes and live entertainment. There's also a tower with magnificent views of the surrounding area and the island of Lobos. El Campanario is on the number 6 bus route which runs between Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo.
The busy tourist town of Corralejo has a harbour, which was originally used by local fishermen, and now has a marina, and a ferry terminal. From here you can take the ferry to the nearby island of Lanzarote, passing the island of Los Lobos on the way, which you can also take a ferry to.
Merkastillo Craft and Agricultural Market
The Merkastillo Craft and Agricultural Market is held every Thursday between 1800 and 2200 at the Plaza opposite the Barcelo Hotel in Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura.
Apart from the Market, Caleta de Fuste, also known as Caleta, or Castillo has many bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, there are some nice beaches with fine golden sand and crystal-clear water, and a small harbor. Other nearby facilities include a convention centre, two golf courses, and a casino.

New Years Day 2019
New Years Day is a public holiday in Fuerteventura on January 1st each year.
Public transport operates a Sunday timetable, banks and goverment offices are usually closed along with certain shops including supermarkets, especially those located outside of the main tourist resorts.

Starting at 11:45 with Cabalgatas de Reyes, the arrival of the three kings, at Corralejo harbour and ending with trge departure from Las Palmeras shopping centre at 17:30. A fantastic sight to see for all the family.
